This page  shows a typical installation of Spartan Rod Works A-arms.

After the stock control arms were removed, a hole saw is used to open up the lower control arm pivot bolt hole. The included wider lower arm pivot is welded in place after careful measuring. Instructions for placement are included. The gusset is then welded in also for strength.

Next the new lower arm is bolted in. The stock radius arm hole can be removed if desired or notched if left in place and can be used as a trailer tie down point.

The upper arm mounts just like the stock one. Just bolt it in.  Bolt the spindle to the upper ball joint, and set the spring in its mount.

Bring the lower arm up to the spindle with a floor jack ,being very careful with the spring, and bolt the lower arm in place.

Put the shocks on and get an alignment done and your ready to cruise!
